Topic: sucky warehouse Posted: 25 October 2007 at 5:11pm |
went today to the warehouse sylvia park, supposed to have everything apparently...
anyway they didnt have a maternity range and they didnt have kids sunhats for ages up to 7.... they had a few caps - all Thomas etc really expensive ones - and the rest were from age 8-14. Turned out tho either gabriel has a huge head or their sizing is very small cause the 8-14 range hats fit him fine...
Hmph, i was very annoyed they didnt seem to have everything....

The Sylvia Park one isn't very good. I think they got rid of a lot of their usual stuff to fit their supermarket in there.

Yeah I remember they did have a maternity range, they dont now which sucks! I went to farmers to see what they had and they said they dont stock maternity wear cos people wear the baby doll tops etc, but what about pants!! Our preggy tummys aint gonna fit it normal pants after 20 weeks!! lol
K Mart has a really great range! Im gonna go there when I start getting a tum tum

Glassons use to have a small range as well, don't know if they still do.
I got pants from pumpkin patch in the sale, they were really good quality and have been able to pack away ready to get out for next time

Im 28+ weeks and Im still in normal pants from glassons ... they are cotton with a wide fold down band and super comfy and you can get dress pants with the same fold down waist band.
Now I just wear the waist band up (so it half covers my bump) and a belly band over the top so they dont slide down (oh and much much cheaper than the "real" maternity pants Ive seen!)

Oh that's what I'm missing! - I've got those same pants but I've stopped wearing them because I was sick of hitching them up all the time

I asked while pregnant with Xavier... apparently the Warehouse isn't going to be stocking maternity clothes anymore.

i have a pair that mum bought me from target in oz that were too short for me that I will sell to anyone who wants maternity pants...meant to sell ages ago but forgot where i put them for a while...oops!
they are viscose (rayon) polyester elastane, black, size 18, to fit - Bust ????110cm, waist 90cm, hip 115cm. Made by maternity expressions for Target Oz. Paid $35 OZ for them so will sell for $35 NZ if someone PMs me. otherwise going on TM soon now I have found them again....BTW they are too short cause I am six foot...if you are 5 10 or under you will be fine.
