hi guys. Well i know this is a random topic but we just aquired a cute little kitten this morning. My friend found 2 of them at the river New Years day - prob dumped there cruel aye as they were only about 3-4 weeks old then. Anyway i have taken the girl and cannot for the life think of a name. Our last cat went missing in Nov due to neighbours having a huge party and she freaked and took off but it took me months to name her.
So if anyones got any creative names for a dark and light grey striped girl cat please share.

Thanks
Marlene

how about storm. Or how about river to relate to where she was found.

Or grey in different language spanish, oscuro
Italin, grigio

Our cats name is miles (because he looks like he is wearing a dinner suit, dont ask my husband named him. Lucky i got to name the kids aye.)

But anyway miles just gets called kitty and its a pretty good name :)

Thanks for the ideas guys.
I do quite like the idea of using a word from another language. Will go have a think about it.
Also feel free to share more ideas if you have any

you could call her smudge - cos it looks like her colours and lines are all smudged together.

Now I'm all confused as to whether its a boy or girl. My friend whom I got it off said its a girl but I never checked and compared with the other one that she said was a boy. So i called into the vets when I was up town and that just confused me more once I got home to have a look. Might have to actually take it down to the vet to get confirmation so naming it will be on hold until then. I am really thinking its a boy after checking but then what do I know I'm not a vet!!!!

I like my mum's pet names. She has a cat named Wanda (short for 'A fish called Wanda') and her two goldfish are named Bounce and Fluffy.

Her cat is a dipstick though. Let's hope your cat doesn't do the stupid things that Blonda does. (That's what her name has evolved into as we think she may have been a blonde in a previous life)

How horrible though that people just dump cats. We had four cats, a dog, two rabbits and a bird when I was in taumarunui - as well as two swallows. We lived next to the river and often came across bags of animals. Ick ick ick.
