Topic: trademe rocks ! Posted: 16 January 2006 at 9:10am |
We have decided that we're going to try and get as much stuff off trademe as possible, with the exception of some of the bigger stuff... and so last night I couldn't help myself, and bought a nappy bag It's brand new, and in fairly neutral gray colors, and even had the tag line "A nappy bag even your hubby won't mind carrying !!" LOL $35 and free shipping, so I was quite pleased. I saw a couple of second hand ones for heaps cheaper that looked OK, but I felt better about this one and just went for it.
I have also spotted a stroller / capsule / carseat '3 in 1' that I really like too for $250, a three wheeler, but won't get that for another three months or so I don't think.
Who else has a baby stuff shopping addiction? I know I'm not alone !!

Practically everyone on here is addicted to TradeMe! We got a lot of Josiah's stuff off there, as I hadn't kept much beyond the cot and some girls clothes from Kiya.

I'm a big trademe lover. Have brought a few bits and peices from the baby gear section and my husband has brought things to add to his hunting stuff.

I introduced my mum to trademe and she loves it. She used to own a wool shop and had hundreds of knitting patterns in boxes, so now she is selling them on trademe and making herself some extra dosh. I've been buying baby einstein videos for jake. $10 each!!! And I got a double stroller for $70 a few weeks ago! go trademe!!!

I am waiting for a jolly jumper to arrive in the next few days off TM. Last week I got some Fuzzibunz nappies. Have bought some baby clothes and Hannahs cot... Obviously another TM addict!

I guess I was really lucky that I was able to get some of our stuff while overseas, otherwise I think I'd be getting EVERYTHING off TM :P Not that this is bad !!

I bought a knitted jersey for $3 today. Do I need one??? No.
I think that pretty much sums up me and trademe. Might start selling back some of the crap I have accumulated.

trademe is our home page, it has fueled my little people addiction - have got a couple of things off there, to add to our huge collection - usually the stuff that isn't sold anymore - am still looking out for the docotrs surgery set that i just missed the other day - was so miffed!
on the other hand - it's also great cos i am now selling stuff on there too - got good prices for 2 lots of bulk baby gear - have sold our baby gym - lolol to Jezsika... and also am gonna get rid of a whole heap of stuff that i bought but never wore - from my party days. lolol.
trade me does rock...

I don't buy much, mostly sell, but will probably look for the bits and pieces we need for our next baby when the time comes. But even selling is addictive!
