My poor wee girl is being attacked by mozzies!! Mostly when she's outside. Her legs are covered in bites. I've been putting repelant on her & antiseptic cream on the bites & she's still being attacked. I went to check on her while she was sitting outside & there were 2 huge mozzies on her then, she didn't even notice them. They mainly attack her legs & upper arms.

Anyone got any ideas of what I can put on her to stop her being eaten alive???? Look at her poor little legs

Italiah there is something you can put on her, but I can't remember what it is, its peppermint or something crazy like that, hopefully someone else will know on here!

I totally feel for her, I get bitten like crazy too! I sat at a bbq last weekend and not one other person got bitten and I was covered in them! Little buggas!! One year the bites got so badly infected I had to go to the doctors and I got scars on my legs from them too I religiously rubbed viatmin E cream on the scars and they are completely gone now!

I think diluted lavender or eucalyptus (sp) oil is supposed to work.

Thanks for the suggestions girls. I'm wanting to try & prevent her getting bitten in the first place, the insect repellant doesn't seem to be working. I have cream for once she is biten, but would prefer to avoid her getting attacked in the first place. I hate the thought of those mites getting to her!

Awww poor wee girl. My Mercedes gets bitten like that too. I have taken to using a roll on repelent and also a repelent spray. She still gets attacked but not as much as she normally would.
