Oh my god, sleep what is tht, its becoming a foreign concept.

apart from the fact that its hot at night, i am getting up so much to go loo its not funny, i am finally falling into a decent sleep at about 4.30am only to be woken at 6am when the alarm goes off.

I know that i am getting up so much because i am drinking more water to keep hydrated, but i stop drinking at about 7pm straight after dinner.

What i wouldnt give to only get up once through the night

mwwhhhwaaaaaa, sorry that was my attempt at an evil laugh.

I was told all this getting up in the night and not being able to get comfortable was to prepare me for being up at night with the baby.

Try and have nana naps during the day if you can.

I remember i use to just stumble to the toilet in a daze and then stumble back to bed, the toilet was right opposite the bedroom.Half the time i would forget how many times i had gone to the toilet in the middle of the night because i'm sure i walked there in my sleep even.

I got brilliant at being able to get myself back to sleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. Really is a helpful tool once you do have a kid.

I remember about the toilet trips... treasured not having to get up 6 times during the night once I had Hannah. It was bliss!

I'm happy not to be visiting the loo about a million times a day, and would like to offer reassurance that you shouldn't need to getup for baby that much, but would be lying.....sooo....sleepy.....

I used to hate getting back into bed after I'd gotten up to the toilet - my hips would seize up on whatever side I was sleeping on and I could never remember which side it was when I got back to bed.

I feel for you....I took today off becuase I was so tired....almost no sleep last night combined with morning sickness equalled an unhappy mum to be...Hubby told me I had to stay home and I wasn't going to argue!

Quite honestly though...if one more person says my body is preparing me for baby....i'll slap them!

Paws I'm with ya. We are probably at a similar stage.
Would absolutely kill for a sleep in but those are non-existent with little Miss Hannah.

Mum was saying she saw a programme the other night with a woman who was heavily pregnant and kept up by movement, she brought some headphones and a soothing CD and she puts the headphones on ether side of her belly and plays the music and apparently it works everytime.
Maybe give that a go? Probably put you to sleep to lol
