Hi there, just wondered if any of you lovely ladies have used a lactation consultant in Christchurch area? If so who did you see and do you recommend them? I am having trouble with a sore cracked nipple and feel like the latch is just not quite right despite my best efforts. May be time to call in some help I think.
Hi, I haven't used her, but last week my plunket nurse recommended Marcha Annandale, her number is in the white pages. Apparently she is excellent and also does home visits. Good luck, I'd love to know if she is helpful for you. x
I second Marcha too Katie, that's who I went to see. She was really good, even if its only to put your mind at ease that you are doing all you can. She does charge though, I think it cost me $80.00, from memory I was there for about an hour.
