Yup, it's on as background while the girls (I've got O with me today) are making a fort or something in the middle of the lounge. Are you at home or work today?

Yep we are watching it, and recording it on My Sky.
Nyah is transfixed on it. She doesn't understand that it's someone's grandad that has died, when her grandad's are all alive

It's been good.....if a funeral can be. I've had some interesting discussions with two 6 year olds about death and families etc. Glad I'm off work this week so am able to watch.

Just went down and saw the processional first hand. People clapped him down Khyber pass, like a mexican wave - it made my hair lift a little off my head. There look to be thousands of people out there.

They showed the procession through town on tv, it was amazing, so many people. Even after the huge downpour!

Man, i shed plenty of tears through the whole thing, but that haka after the piper did me in completely.

I'm go gutted I missed most of it . One little person didn't want to be at home so we went for a walk instead.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

I recorded the rest of it on My Sky as we had to go out. So Conor is fast forwarding it for me so I can see the Haka etc... I'm amazed at the amount of people who braved the elements to farewell him, that's just awesome.

RIP.

I managed to see the highlights on TV just before the news it was so nice the haka and the piper.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

One thing I did like was that Sky News Australia and the BBC had the coverage on their news channels, so my parents were able to watch it on Sky News (it was the TVNZ coverage).

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

I'm glad I didn't watch it coz just watching the highlights this evening, and listening to the Gov Gen read For Everything there is a Season had me in tears, I would have been sobbing like a baby if I'd watched the whole thing.

I must say tho it was a very fitting tribute, and shame on Nepal for their appalling lack of respect and action.
