Im pretty sure I have  a bladder infection cos last night I had a burning pain in my lower pelvic region. quite low and it was really painful. Also going to the toilet more than usual.

I also mentioned to my midwife about pain I had been getting in cervix area. Like the vagina bone or whatever. A kind of pressure pain. she said it shouldnt be too painful at my stage in pregnancy but it has been. She said it could be the stretching. Anyone else have this problem??

The pain in the cervix could be related to the bladder infection too. By the time you get symptoms, the infection has usually been lurking for a few days. Your midwife can prescribe antibiotics for the urine infection, and it might help to start taking cranberry tablets (from a health food shop) if infections become a recurring thing, as the cranberry can help prevent infection.

I had the stretching pains too!! Felt like a dull constant pain down in the pubic bone area? Basically, it is stretching to allow more room for baby! Quite normal but still uncomfortable!

I had the pain aswell and also around where I guess my ovaries are, the whole area just ached for my whole pregnancy but it did go as soon as Kobe was born.
Cranberry juice is great for the infection.
