As if hyperemesis didn't suck enough on it's own try mixing hyperemesis with a tummy bug and you get some bizarre and cruel form of torture!
Tues afternoon I was feeling a little queasier than nromal but thought it was just coz I hadn't eaten much all day. Nope, half way thru Shortland St I started puking and didn't stop till around 4am, by which time it was coming out both ends 
The man that fathered my children refused to take the day off work despite the fact that I'd been spewing all night and left me home alone with the kids, so when he rang at 10am to see how I was going I told him I bloody well hoped he got sick too!
Poor Maya got landed with the gremlins all day coz I physically could not get out of bed, she was a legend, she fed them and played with them and all I had to do was change nappies and get them in and out of the cot. I felt so dead that just getting up made me nauseous.
Then Willie came home at 3.30pm and mwahahaha he tells me he has crook guts too. Too bad mate, you left me at home all day with the kids, now they're your problem. And I stayed in bed.
Feeling better today, have kept some toast and apple juice down, but I nearly passed out in the shower, I just feel so drained and tired. Oh and baby is still bouncing around in there quite happily, according to the midwife the bug shouldn't affect bubs at all.
I have to be 100% tomorrow tho, I have Maya's first school visit!

Urghh Emma that sucks!! Poor you, and Id be pissed at my DF if he wouldnt stay home aswell and laugh if he got sick too  Men!
Im glad your feeling a bit better today, just take it easy

Good job Willie got it too  and thank goodness for Maya stepping up! What a little star!
Hope you're well on the mend now chick, and I really hope your girls don't get it too!

Poor you and GO Maya!!! As for Willie....do you REALLY want a man sick?????? Think how "bad" he will have it....and who will have to look after him????

Oh Emma, I'm glad you are feeling better today. Grrr at Willie for not taking the day off yesterday to help you, though looks like karma has bitten him in the butt on that one!

The funny thing is, Maya was excited about looking after them lol, she loves being the "big helper".
Good point NZPiper, sick Willie's are painful, but I booted him out of bed and off to work this morning so I don't have to put up with him. I obviously got the worse dose tho coz he hasn't been vomiting, just had the runs and feeling crap.
