Topic: nearly taken out.... Posted: 26 February 2008 at 4:56pm |
on Pakuranga highway this afternoon I was nearly taken out by a high speed police chase....two chasing a white statin wagon who dared to go around traffic after I managed not to get hit and he went into oncoming traffic...
then as i was recovering I had to stop for a plain cop car to come across in front of me...
AND then....nearly hit a cop at an intersection who luckily saw me - who was going thru on a green onto botany road legally.....luckily he saw me in time...
if only they let you drink on the job my nerves might have come right this arvo!!!

You poor thing! That must have taken a good week off your life
I remember the good ole days when it was rare to almost be in an accident. It feels like these days it is how many times a day it happens though I hate driving in Auckland

ugh , what a lovely drive for you !
I hate Pakuranga highway, such a dangerous road,so many accidents happen there, my friends boyfriend was killed there October before last-well that was a bit different cos the guy drove into him and another girl that died, but still! horrible road !
