So did you do anything special with your children today for children's day??

I took the boys and their cousin to the Marriner Reserve in Palmy for the miniture steam train rides. Andrew and Jacob went on a train together first and then me and Josh joined them for another ride on a different train. They loved it heaps.

Then they played on the playground beside it but because of the area it is in we left early as some of the other children there were foul mouthed (i'm talking 5 years olds ) and their behaviour was something they didn't need to see.

Had a battle with Andrew to leave Jacob's place but with the help of Neil (Jacob's dad) I got him in the car.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

we went to the church thing - and it was all free! jake went on the obstacle course with the "big boys" and loved it. was in a sack race, bouncy castle and even had his face painted. He also rode a big pony. taine was wandering around a little subdued and came down with a fever and ear infection in the early hours of this morning. we had a great day

I helped organise the Blenheim Childrens' Day so I didn't hardly see my kids, LOL, but I helped other families have a good day (I hope!)
