DH and i went to hamilton airport at 10pm sunday night, we were 2 hours early! (lol) to pick up my aunt who was landing at 11.55pm but anyway we watched the TV to pass the time and if there was ever inapropriate viewing then that was it!! - first there was "the exorsism of emily rose!" then the next one was a movie called ROME which was mainly PORN!!!!!.....highly uncomfortable for us as it was VERY LOUD and we were sitting there with an elderly man, elderly couple, guy with his 10yr old son, guy with his 6 yr old son and an elderly lady!! ...we didnt know which way to look!!
What channel was it on? You can always lay a complaint with the Broadcasting Standards Authority for that particular channel. However, it WAS 10pm, which is after the AO programming start time (usually 8.30pm). I've had a look at the BSA guide and it doesn't sound like the TV channel breached any of the rules concerning AO programming, so your complaint is more with the airport than the TV channel.
Was there someone around who could have changed the channel? I think that's what I would have done if I'd been uncomfortable with what was on, after asking the other people around me if they minded. Or give the airport a call and tell them what you noticed. Perhaps because it was after 10pm they didn't expect children to be present and thought it would be okay to have the TV onn adult programming. Or perhaps they just have the TV on one channel all day long and don't really pay attention to what's on late at night.
lol sorry but i just saw the funny side to that.............on another note i would complain to the airport............and if i was the father of those kids i would have done that straight away............i suppose that added some excitment at the airport..........dont know howmany times iv been bored sitting there.
That's awful! I'd complain to the airport. Yeah it was after 10pm, but airports are places where kids are awake/up when they usually wouldn't be.... they probably just do just leave it on one channel all day and don't even realise what's on - so I think they should know...
one sat or sunday morning a few weeks back i woke up turred on tv and OMG there was full frontal nudity of some old women...ok they were like 60!!! and went on for a good five mins and then was a very weird arty programme....is nudity at 8 30am different if it is for arts sake!
lol yeah no complaint from me really i just thought it was funny but a little uncomfortable as its not what i would have thought id be watching at an airport! lol
We wanted to change the channel but a few of the older people seemed rather engrossed in the movie I wouldnt really complain to the airport anyway cos its not like it was a sky channel - it was channel 1! lol and yes it was late! lol
