I am looking for a high chair booster for Alex. I don't want the clip on type, but the ones that sit on top of your dinning chairs, so that he can sit at the table with us, rather than in his high chair. I have found a fisher price one, but am wondering if there are other brands? Also, if any body recommends a particular type?

TIA

We've got a Lipski Kid one.
It has a tray so you can use it as a high chair away from the table and it slots in under the table as well.
It also has 3 height levels so it can grow with them.
I think you can buy them from The Warehouse for about $30.

I just picked one up today at BabyCity  - Safety First brand, $50 (temporarily reduced from $80).  It gets it's maiden voyage at dinner tonight, but so far looks like it'll do the trick nicely for Ella eating at the table.

OK so having mentioned that we recently bought the Safety 1st one... I might also mention that while it works well as a seat for Ella at the table, Ella can pull the back of it off with one hand while she's sitting in it - so now it's just back-less!  Still works fine, just no back-rest for the middle and top of her back.  Not too impressive considering it's normally an $80 booster seat.

I have something like this but it's useless atm cause it doesn't add height.
