This has probably beed posted about before...

But I'm a hair dye junkie. I haven't dyed it in almost a year, about a month before I got pregnant.
It's now shoulder length and ALL my natural hair colour - first time in about 12 years.
I like it...but it's lacking gloss and looks a little dull. I just want to put a chocolate brown through it (I'm brunette) to liven it up.
Is this safe while BF'ing?

Yeah it's fine to do hun... I'm the same.

I get bored so quickly with my hair... I just spent over $300 at a salon to go from dark brown to blonde, and the other day I decided I wanted to be brunette again. Lol

Eden couldn't work it out lol, she was so confused

haha Serenity!
Hannah did the same. I went from long hair (half way down my back) to shoulder length with a fringe. it took Hannah a while to realise that I was Mummy - even though I sounded and smelled the same. Quite amazing what they pick up on at such an early age!

I need to do something with mine. I havent had it coloured since just before Tom was born, had it cut once and now it is too thick again. Would love to get it coloured again but cant justify the expense and it take soooooooo long. Also dont want to get it coloured in the first trimester and here we are again.

I'd rather have the baby than the hair colour
Not long to go until the 2nd tri and you can do it

But it DOES makes you feel SO much better when you get a cut and colour.

Haha, I was being silly while the colour was still developing and had all my hair sticking up - I looked like Jimmy Neutron. She had a look like

I've only ever been to the salon three times in my life, and only ever paid twice. Mum's a hairdresser so I picked up the tricks of the trade and cut and colour my own hair.

Do you cut other people's hair too? When I was a sahm one of the ways I saved money was to have another mum cut mine but now she's moving to australia and I'm going to have to find a hairdresser. I just refuse to part with $80 for a haircut (even though a few years ago I would have happily spent a couple of hundred every 8 weeks - funny how priorities change)

Lol, depends - I have done in the past... I haven't done it in a LOOOONG time.

Which reminds me, I need to get some new scissors etc.

There's a place in North City (KESS or KISS - Something like that) and they're REALLY cheap, but really good

Thanks Serenity. I'll check them out.

I went to just cuts last time I had my hair done (about 5 months ago) and the lady that did it was very good but you never know who you're going to get and the one before that was just average.

I'm off to Auck this weekend and have no time this week to have my hair done so in the meantime it'll just have to be tied up

$18 that's so good. Even the cheaps cuts in wgtn are $32 which is why my hair only gets cut once or twice a year.
