Just to let those of you who have been following her progress know, Toni had her lap surgery today and is recovering well. The specialist did find something which they have sent away for a biopsy so fingers crossed she gets some answers soon.

Thinking of you Toni, and hoping you get an answer!
Take care after the lap - it takes a wee bit to get back on your feet again

Thank you for all of your messages!
I came home this morning, can't really give Miss C any cuddles unless DH holds her as I can't pick her up or bend down to her
I did put an update on the General thread, but since Emma has been kind enough to start this one as well I'll do you guys an update.
Lap went really well - all of my baby making bits are "in pristine condition". Surgeon found and removed a bit of endo (or what looks like endo) at the back of my uterus and touching the bowel.
Also, my uterus has very full veins that look like varicos veins which is probably causing me all my problems. Will find out the results of the biopsy soon I hope.
My tummy is a little sore, but nothing compared to the gas that is trapped on my right shoulder and under my diaphram! That hurts more than when I had the C-section!

Oh Two blondinis I totally feel for you and the shoulder pain. When I had my lap one of the nurses just mentioned as a passing remark that 'oh you may get a bit of pain in your shoulders'. Man was that the understatement of the year. I had to ask for more morpheine (yaaaaahhhh) before I left to go home and even then the pain was really intense. Felt like 2 people had an arm each and were pulling and turning at the same time. OUCH. Hope everyone is running round after you at home. All the best.
