Topic: Discharge - Normal???? TMI?? Posted: 19 March 2008 at 5:20pm |
I have been having muddy brown discharge for about 4 days now.
Its not lots but I just wonder if it is normal to have this - I am 14 weeks.
I can't remember if I had any with Ethan.

I would get it checked out. It might be nothing but you will get peace of mind.

I had it for a week between 8-9 weeks, then it started again at 12 weeks and lasted till just after 14 weeks, for the most part it was just (sorry if TMI) very dark brown, old looking mucous, enough to stain a pad but not heavy, then after that I had two big bright red bleeds and had to go to hospital but a scan showed baby is just fine and I still don't know what caused the bleeding.

Ooh, just to add, when I saw the OB when I was in hospital with the bleeding she said it would be very unusual to miscarry at 14 weeks, esp as my NT scan about 10 days earlier had been perfect.

Yea, it isn't really worrying me as its not bright red and not really much at all.
Like Emma really - enough to stain pad but not enough to soak or need a change throughout the day.

You prob should check with your midwife just in case, mine was pretty cross that I let it go on for two weeks and didn't tell her till I was in hospital...
