The car is not what he said it was!
I have booked flights and the ferry!
I have found another one in auckland.
Its in Waitakere City? Is that far from the airport?
I am so upset now!

Waitakere City isn't much further from Blockhouse Bay where you were going to get the first one. Where abouts in Waitakere City?
Are you buying it privately or thru a dealer.

Privatly. The guy in blockhouse bay was going to pick us up though so we would have to find our own way to this one. Is there buses that can get us there?

Waitakere City is huge, it basically includes 1/4 of Auckland, so you'll need to find out which suburb exactly. All Waitakere City really means is that it's somewhere in West Auckland.
Busses are a mission, but if you want to check them out, look at the Journey Planner on Maxx.co.nz. You'll need an address though.

You can't get a bus from the airport to West Auckland. You would have to get the Airport bus into town and then either train or bus out there. Like the girls said Waitakere City is huge. What time do you arrive, I'll talk to DH?
How about looking at other options re cars up here?
How do you know he lied?

Because he said it is a MS-9 and he just sent me photos and its actually a MS-8. So now i dont want it.
Do auckland do airport shuttles? You know how the pick you up and take you to the airport? And same vice versa? I dont know we have them here thats how we are getting to the airport.
I dont mind busing from airport to town and then to the place.
there is another one up north but its in Te Awamutu which is the otherside of hamilton.
I arrive at 8.20am. Thats what the ticket says. We leave here at 7am. its amazing it takes 1 hour to fly there but AGES to drive!
It really is a pain. I dont want to waste $400!

from auckland to out west? nearly 100 bucks. Honestly, get one of the lovely OB ladies to take you - if you've not been there before and try to catch a bus you're gonna get horribly lost!

MissAngel is right it will cost you heaps to bus/ shuttle or taxi form the airport to west asuckland plus take AGES!!! Plus the buses and trains never run on time and that time of the morning is peak hour. The motorway from the airport to out west is busy busy busy sometimes up to 9.30 ish!
Best to arrange to get a lift from the airport out may take up to an hour by car.

Its further than the Christchurch Airport to say Cathedral Square!
Let me talk to DH, he's just watching the rugby at the moment. We might be able to sort something out for you... Not promising anything though...

What about taxi and ask the seller to take the fare off what you are paying off it?

Taxi would be easily $100 depending on where out west coz you have to get off the SE then drive a bit to get on the NW motorway to go out west.

oh, didn't know (out of towner)
Hey, did you think about seeing if a dealer in CHCH can import you one?? We got one here in little old Blenvegas to import us a vehicle for our business, and it was waaaayyyy cheaper than buying off some of the lots and car sales we looked at online, or even TM private trades. We hunted for ages. Didn't take long, either, about 2 weeks.
