Just wondering what cleaning products you guys use to clean up after your children when they have an accident?

i soak the area with just warm water with a little bit of detergent in it, pat it down with a hand towel, then put newspaper over it and stomp on it until the paper comes away dry (of course dont do this on white or light carpet)

Clean up? A towel.

I figured we'd just get our carpets cleaned when Hannah had finished TT-ing. We still haven't yet

Same here, urine is sterile when it leaves the body, if it smells later I might put some carpet deoderant on it. I figure we have lived in this rental for 3 years, will need to steam clean when we go, so as long as it doesn't smell I leave well alone

Yeah I normally just use a couple of wipes or something. I was wondering if it would start stinking though a bit later on. We have new carpet in the rental we are living in so didn't want her ruining it lol

When Caitlin had accidents on Mum's brand new beige carpet I just soaked up the worst of it with a paper towel and sprayed it with EcoStore AntiBac spray, I figured it's all natural so shouldn't do too much harm to the carpet. Haven't had any complaints from the Grandparents about stinky carpet yet

hehe I was reading the start thinking oh man Im a terrible housewife, i just use a towel or something so thank god others do the same.
I remember when Kobe had an accident at a 'friends' house once she broke out the rubber gloves, disenfectant, hot water etc..., I felt so bad but then she has children the same age so knows what its like.
