My neice is turning 2 and my friends daughter is turning 3 - I thought I would sew them a little apron and matching chefs hat and then give them a packet of the Greens Cupcake's.

Is this appropriate for the neice turning 2? I am thinking it will be ok and am pretty sure that its ok for a 3 year old?

Help???

I don't have a 2 year old just yet and am looking forward to doing "cooking" with her.

I think that is an awesome idea!

That is a cool gift.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

YGreat idea! You can also get cute little sets of rolling pin/cookie cutters etc quite cheaply, and have seen more expensive versions in kitchen shops. Also you could buy each girl a brightly coloured mixing borl of their own, and put the rest of the pressie inside the bowl!

Perfect! Hannah LOVES baking. Mind you, mostly it's because she eats all the mixture.

Pleased it meets approval. Will go and buy the material tomorrow. I was also thinking of a bowl for it to go in but couldn't find a cheap one but will head to the $2 shop.

Do you reckon it would work for boys also?

Although boys usually get 3 packets of seed, small watering can and a tray with 3 little pots. Works out to be about $12 from The Warehouse.

I would so do it for boys! Manly material for apron, blue bowl, and maybe a dinosaur or similar cookie cutter!

Cant remember who it was, but someone on here was packaging up ingredients and writing out a cookie recipe, and buying cutters etc for christmas gifts.
