Leo and I have been out watering the gardens and pottering around outside.  When I moved the BBQ cockroaches came running out, Leo was in hysterics at me squealing and jumping away like a little girl!!  Now spiders I dont mind, and I can even pick up the dead rats the cat brings home (what did we get a cat again for?!?  lol). But cockroaches make me cringe every time and I cant stand the revolting little germy creatures!

What creepy crawly things are you afraid of??

Eww cockroaches creep me out too. I used to get them in the classroom all the time and I'd have boys on cockroach patrol, I'd make them take them to the far corner of the field lol. They can live through fire ya know. Someone told me that if there was a nuclear explosion, they'd be the only living thing that could survive. Don't know if that's true or not but it makes me even more creeped out!

Ewww Cambridge is crawling with cockroches for some reason. Everyone get them here - we probably see about 6 or so a week in the house that we kill with flyspray but I shudder to think how many run around without us seeing    We were at a friends house a couple of months back, sitting out on the deck after dinner and they were just swarming through the gaps in the deck, we had 3 cans of flyspray going each time they were spotted. My friend went out the next day and counted 17 dead but heaps went back through the gaps    They let off a bomb after that. *shudders*

We get our house sprayed for ants and it does all those creepy crawlies. Costs about $200 a year but it sooo worth it. Its really rare to see anything inside at all, but if I do, I know it won't be alive for very long!

I used to be REALLY freaked out about moths. I had a reoccuring nightmare when I was about 10, about heaps of moths flying in my hair all the time and they wouldn't come out, I even washed my hair and they just kept fluttering all around my head. It was an awful dream. Thankfully I'm not as scared of them now...

Were you in Milford? We flatted there for a while and apparently that whole area has a BAD cockroach problem. Our house was overrun by them when we moved in - to the point that one fell off the ceiling onto a book I was reading one night. These weren't the little fellas either but those big oval shaped ones.

That being said my most feared insect is the preying mantis - swivelly head and beady eyes *shivers*

Ewwww wetas    My cat is forever bringing in skinks. I don't find them that bad as long I can catch them before they disappear under something - Ashleigh on the other hand is absolutely terrifed of them lol!

We've been getting a few cockroaches lately too, must be their season. Yuk. I get DH to remove them

I absolutely HATE mice though. Makes me feel nauseous just thinking about it. We had them take over our home when I was young (10?) and you'd open a drawer and one would scamper away etc. I couldn't handle being in the lounge on my own in the mornings cause I could hear them going around the room even though I couldn't see them. Ew ew ewwww

I find birds trapped inside really freaky though, always think they are gonna fly their beak straight into my face or something.

Spot the city girl LOL!!!
