Yay Toby, how was he with it was he grumpy at all?
I just noticed this morning that Katelyn has her first tooth aswell and i didn't even now that she was getting it she wasn't grumpy or anything.
Ryan needs to catch up his sister is beating him in everything he still isn't crawling or got any teeth, they will be 8 months on Monday.
I didn't realise our babies were so close in age.

he was a little bit grumpy but nothing too out of the ordinary, so i was surprised to see the tooth. my older boy never grizzled or anything.

Yeh Katelyn was fine and i didn't even notice anything until the tooth was through, Blair was the same no problems with him either, must be horrible for people who have babies that have heaps of problems with teething.

Josiah started dribbling lots at 6 months, but didn't cut his first tooth until 8 months... 2.5 months after that, #4 should cut any day now! He has 2 bottom and 1 top with the second top coming. You never know.

I remember asking the plunket nurse about why Ryan and Katelyn dribbled so much and she said that when they are born the don't have much siliva (sp?) and when they get more they have to learn how to swollow it, but even now i'm sure Ryan and Katelyn haven't learnt how to swollow it they go through bibs like you wouldn't believe.

Zac is also chewing oh his fist and dribbling and he is only 3.5 months - no crying though luckily. You can actually see two teeth (I think they are called the eye teeth) at the front of his gums waiting to come through. How long do they sit there for until they actually come through??

My daughter was 20 weeks when her first tooth came through (week before last). Very surprised as I heard that the teeth are there and often move around a lot before coming through. Although Liv was sleeping well during the night in the days leading up to her tooth coming through I was up to her every three hours (all she wanted to do was comfort feed). Bit of a relief when the tooth came through - now I can give her Pamol and Bonjela to soothe it for her - didn't even think of it beforehand as I thought I had a few months to go before teething!

Liv can now crawl about a metre before getting frustrated, so guess we'd better start 'baby-proofing' the house as it won't be long before she's full-on. Very exciting that she's reached/reaching these milestones but honestly thought we'd have longer to wait.
