 Topic: Bestest Birthday Ever

Well, I had THE best birthday EVER. First up, JJ FINALLY started crawling the day before, talk about proud...
THen, after pretending he had forgotten all morning, about my birthday, while I was racing trying to get JJ and I ready for work in 15 mins, Rod stood in the lounge, gave me a card, hand jammed in his pocket, voice wavering. Read the card, happy birthday ra ra, THEN he said that I had better sit down, he got down on one knee (!!!) said a wee speech (I was going don't tease me, don't tease me)and presented the ring, which he placed on my finger. Of course I said YES. He even had the ring I wanted!!!
I will post a pic later on, but it is a 18ct yellow gold 1/2 carat princess cut diamond ring, with a semi rub over in white gold around the solitaire, and shoulder diamonds. Page 7 this months Michael Hill catalogue, bottom left hand corner. Isn't it lucky I work at a jewellers!!!
SO EXCITING!!!
