Anyone know much about feeling dizzy in pregnancy if your BP is ok, your pulse is ok, and you haven't had anything bad to eat? It's only been mild, and have just barely noticed it a couple of times... but very, I dunno, sudden I guess? Almost like vertigo, but not. *frowns* Sorry I can't describe it better, and I'm not going to panic yet, but want to check out the possibilities.

Temps were definitely OK, and as far as I can recall I wasn't actually doing much of anything when I felt it - in a way it was almost like that wierd displacement you get when you have really bad jet lag. I even felt it sneak up just a little bit when I was in bed last night, but nothing so far today.

*laughs* Actually, that is one of the more 'accurate' descriptions of it so far... feeling "la la" LOL There is another activity / sensation I could relate it to *cough* but I don't do that anymore, I'm a good girl !! (This was back during uni days... )

Funny thing is this isn't anything like any of the sickness or lightheadedness I got in early pg, and this comes very suddenly, for 10 seconds tops, and is then gone again. It's more the suddenness of it that worries me, but haven't really noticed it much today so am just going to continue to wait. I hate to say it but it's almost like when you catch a whiff of cleaner, or solvent or something and its really strong and spaces you out for a bit and then is gone... and NO I am not a glue sniffer !! Say if there is painting in your office or something, it's a bit like that, sort of. Argh ! Feel like I'm not describing it very well.

I think somewhere in the bounty book it talks about it - especially as your body is adjusting to having to pump blood to baby - your blood volume increases in pregnancy up to about 40% if i remember rightly - sometimes it can take a min for everything to adjust if you change position etc - also if you lie flat blood supply can be slowed or stopped if baby is lying on some blood vessels - so try to avoid that although i'm sure you've already heard that anyway.. bring it up with your midwife and she might be able to suggest other idea and help you get to the bottom of it.

I've had blood pressure issues since about 14 weeks, and have passed out a couple of times. Pretty scary, but lying and sleeping on your left side helps a lot, as does not jumping up too quickly from bed.
