nah they are well protected in there. i am forever bumping into things with it, i burned it on the stove the other night! i love that its there but i'm just not used to it. other people too, when they walk past me seem to forget that i've expanded and bump into my bump.

oh Yah... I think I was worse...I was soooo paranoid all the time! So you are doing well so far.

You can always ask us you know and if still concerned call the midwife, and remember that is what they are there for!

It takes a while to adjust your mind to the fact that you can't fit through some spaces anymore because they are too small for your bump, but it is hard to do as your bump just continues to grow, so you have to keep reminding yourself that you are getting bigger. I remember going to the movies the week before giving birth, I had to get up and go to the toilet and since we couldn't find seats on the end of the row I was stuck in the middle and had to walk past heaps of people. I ended up bumping my bump on peoples heads, the people that were sitting in the row in front of us. I was really embarrassed and the more I hurried the more I bumped.

Yeah I can see the funny side of it now, but at the time I was upset and just felt like crying. (I was very emotional at the end of my pregnancy)

Just a little bump, Vanessa... probably mostly because I had Josiah not that long ago...

Taken today, 12 weeks exactly:
