I have a full breech baby! Arghhh lol
He is well and truly head up bum down! Soooo, at my next appointment in 2 weeks time, he is still breech my MW will scan me to see what position exactly he is in, then refer me to someone to turn him, if that doesnt work then I'll be booked in for a C Section...

But he still has 7 weeks to turn so fingers crossed he does! I have exercises to do to help him turn aswell.

Good thing you've got the room sorted - now you can concentrate on scrubbing those floors and hopefully that'll turn him!

Jack didn't turn until about 35-36 weeks so there's hope for Caden yet. Stubborn males!

My man was breech at 34 weeks and I turned to accupuncture to turn him. It was worth every single cent. She helped all my back pain too

If all else fails and still not wanting to move try a bag of frozen peas (or corn....whatever the preference) - apparently bubs moves away from the cold

Lots of the Jan girls had breech babies for a while - we reckon it was all that legs up the wall stuff after TTC But by the end I think Rowan and one other were the only ones left that way round.

So there's a good chance he'll turn for you. There's a thread on ECV lurking around here somewhere if you need to do some reading on it. I'll find it and bump it up for you.

And if worst comes to worst it's not too bad I promise

My sister did this with my niece, she'd turn to get away from the freeze then once the area warmed up again she'd move back to breech again - stubborn minx!!

Scrubbing floors, painting scotias, and resting/watching tv kneeling with your upper body resting on an exercise ball are all supposed to help.

If he doesn't turn you get to choose his birthdate - that's a cool advantage.

Yeah hehe well if he doesnt turn, then I will most likely have a c/s on his due date the 10th June, my midwife said not to book it before then cos he might still turn.

Im going to try all these exercises and stuff and when I se eher in two weeks, hopefully he had decided he likes being head down instead of bum down!

jack was breech but we didn't find out til 36wks.
at least you've found out early so you can do all these wonderful things like scrubbing floors to convince him to turn

Yeah I thought that too as they don't like you to go into labour.

Be careful if you do the ironing board exercise - I heard of someone who broke theirs lol!

She said not to book it before my due date cos he might still turn. I asked her about going into labour and she said that they would wisk me away to middlemore hospital right away and do a emergency c-section if I went into labour before my due date.

Samara was breech and I was booked in for a c-section ten days before her due date. Two days before the scheduled c-section I went into labour and unfortunately started pushing and the Dr gave me an exam and could feel one of her feet so was rushed for an emergency c-section.

Good luck with the turning exercises - I tried all I could find on the internet and she didn't move an inch!

I did the handstands in a swimming pool one - All it did was get water up my nose and funny looks from the other swimmers at the tepid baths.

It provided a great deal of amusement for my friend though. Contrary to what I thought prior to trying it, pregnant women do not float.
