Now i might just be going nuts, but i could have sworn that one of the junior doctors interviewed on TV tonight was shanti's ex betrothed... Is he an actor moonlighting as a doctor or a doctor moonlighting as an actor?

I think he is a moonlighting actor. I'm sure I did read somewhere that he is actually a real dr.

hehe, I saw it too and was like 'it's Danesh!!!'.
I don't think he was working at the time he did Shorters. But they are a few months of filming ahead aren't they? He probably just did SHorters to pay off his student loan and take a break after so many years of studying! Although, from reading the womens mags (alhtough i dont necessarily believe them) it sounds like he'd be taking a pay drop as an actor. but then, maybe he was doubling up and working as a medical advisor for them too????

Danesh is a real life doc - saw him working at Auckland Hospital two weeks ago. Would find it rather weird having him as my doctor though.
And, am not a big Shane Cortese fan either. He seemed a little type cast in the latest outrageous fortune series.
