She's probably not ready, Cooper only started rolling over at 6-7mths, and even now at a day short of 8mths he doesnt' do it alot.    I wouldn't worry, she'll do it when you least expect it.

Maya was never a roller either, she didn't roll over at all till a couple of weeks before she crawled at 8 mths, she just had no interest in it at all. Yet she then walked at 10 months.
The gremlins on the other hand were both regularly rolling from about 8 weeks but were much slower to crawl and walk.

With the turning when on her back, that's probably a sign she's gearing up to roll. Harry started doing this a couple of weeks ago, spinning himself when lying on his back. And then a few days ago he surprised us by rolling over - I think it's the next step.

Also we find that Harry is MUCH more wriggly during nappy off time, maybe it's cos he feels so free (lol) and doesn't have any clothes constricting his movement. So you could always give her plenty of nappy off time to have a good old kick around

LOL, that's prob why the gremlins rolled so early and so often, they were 2-3 mths over summer so when they were awake they were nappy-free, they had hours and hours of nappy free time, as opposed to my poor Maya who's butt would have frozen off!

Michaela didn't figure out rolling until after she'd been crawling for a few months and had already started walking around the furniture.

Kryssi wasn't much of a roller. She seemed to give up. Being long wouldn't have helped her. Now she's crawling and walking, so it's nothing to worry about - just so long as other developmental signs look alright.

My baby is nearly nine months old and she couldn't care less about rolling. I wouldn't worry, and try not to compare developmental stages with other babies as they really all do things in their own good time.
