Is diarhoea (sp) a sign of morning sickness. I am feeling like crap. Have completely cleared out both ends and just feel awful. dont know whether I wan this to be a bug or MS.

Any ideas?

I got real bad diarhoea with my morning sickness as well as vomiting - sometimes it came out of both ends at the same time! I'd suggest popping along to the doctors tho when they open tomorrow just in case :) Remember to drink heaps of water :D

I would say it is a bug Nikki. I've never heard of diarrhoea being a part of MS, especially going all through the night. Poor you hun! Lots of rest for you today, and plenty of fluids x

That does not sound good nikki, if you have a pharmacy that is open up there today get your DH to get you some gastrolyte it works a lot better than just having powerade. Watch you don't get a temp as well, we all had rotovirus a few weeks ago and my temp went right up before I noticed.

And if you can't keep anything down, you might want to go to A/H to get checked out??

Poor you - I remember getting a similar bug when I was 37 weeks pregnant and it was awful

I cant face any food....just had a couple of bites of dry toast. struggling with the powerade.

pharmacy not open but docs might have gastrolyte....actually I think I might have some in my travel first aid kit. ogff to check

It wouldn't hurt to take some paracetamol just in case and yep I would go to the docs better to be cautious.

Ugh, I had this bug at about the same stage in pregnancy (only I didn't know I was pregnant at the time..) and the worst thing is.... we were away for a weekend in Taupo with NO access to running water apart from a manky public toilet with metal seats

I would suggest taking a panadol and drinking as much as you can stomach.. and if you can... sleep it's the best medicine

Did you manage to get to the doctors? I think its a bug too, esp at its lasted during the night and the consistency you mentioned.
ShellandBella mentioned A/H..whats that? After hours?

I do hope you feel better quickly!

How are you feeling now Nikki?

I had one hell of a bug when I was 17 weeks with this one, was literally bedridden for 24 hours with it coming out both ends, and it's nasty!

Big hugs and hope you are feeling better!

sounds like the awful tummy bug that seems to be going around here at the moment. Thank goodness our house hold seems to have missed it, but from what I hear it sounds very nasty.  Hope Tom doesn't get it.......and big hugs it can't be nice being sick AND pregnant.

I was told that somehow your 'body knows' not to get sick just before or during labour. This was something I was worried about when I had my first. Maybe my midwife just said it to make me feel better.

Well my m/w was wrong! I was only 17 when got pregnant and 18 when I had her, so she was probably trying to make me feel confident about things? Who knows lol

My last was 10lb 8oz...wouldnt have minded having her 2 weeks early lol

Edited for spelling.

Nefertiti - I actually believe what you said. I had the chronic flu i week before i had Kylah. My MW said to me i wont go into labour sick. The day after my cold went i had Kylah.

If i remember rightly nikki was sick too..

yep, exactly the same. I was bed ridden the week before Tom arrived....started on his due data and all my prelabour signs stopped! The day I felt better it was all go!

Vomitting and diahroea has subsided. Still feel nauseous and tired and a bit light headed so DH has stayed home and I have been lying on the couch. I only hope that what I have now is not MS....didnt get it bad with Tom so I dont really know what to expect.
