i get really short of breath, some days are fine but others i get really puffed and have to sit down, im not exactly fit but never have been and have never had this before, not a single person in my family has asthma (excuse spelling)
is this normal ? does anyone else get this??

a friend of mine freaked me out and said it could be some disease that only effects women who have had kids

The only time I ever get that is when I'm pg - from about 18 weeks on.

Maybe you need to visit the Dr? I hated it when I was pg, so know how you feel. But I don't get it other than when I'm pg.

Sorry, no help hun!

I'd go and get your blood pressure checked. I had something similar when I was pg with the older kids, it was high blood pressure and I had to be monitered.

Thats not nice of your friend to put ideas in your head like that, it could be any number of things. See what the doctor says and go from there, try not to worry.

Hi Catrad,

Your friend is talking about LAM - Lymphangeoleomyometosis, I know long name huh, I was the research technician on the NZ study for this a few years ago.

Man you so dont have this, it is something that can develop after pregnacy because of all the estrogen but there is only like a few women in NZ that have it and it is a lot more than shortness of breath - go here for more infor and to stop you from worrying that this is what you have

http://www.lam.org.nz/Facts.html

I totally agree with the Exhaustion from Children. I get puffed if I vacuum (I am totally unfit)

Ok so there was my speal
