Topic: How much?? Posted: 10 April 2006 at 1:04pm |
Dont answer if you dont want to, but how much do you spend on disposables every week? I'm just making up a poster for a Fuzzi Bunz stall and need to put in a statement about how much disposables cost compared to Fuzzis. The general figure is $2500 average over 2.5 years, just want to see how accurate that is.
Thanks ladies

well, i buy huggies or ultra only on special, and go thru aobut a packet and a half a week. I spend between $10 and $13 a week, depending on how cheap I have bought them for and how many cloth I have bothered to use that week!

On average I'd say I spend around $13.20 a week. We go through two packets @ around $6.60. but sometimes that will drop to $6 each like this week (Treasures Giggles were on special for $5.98).. I usually get Pams Regular.

We do monthly shops, and at the moment Josiah goes through 4.5 packs of Huggies Crawler nappies, so around $48 a month... $12 a week, something like that.

um, when we had both in nappies we would buy two packs of 40 nappies, for each of them a fortnight, so i spose about $60 every two weeks. now that paris only ewears them for sleeps its gone down a heap - but i second what Becs said about taking nappies to daycare - we go through a heap of them when the girls are there.

although i spose the only down side for using fuzi-bunz would be that many daycares do not do the cloth nappy thing - but i spose it would save money when they aren't at daycare.

I think daycare have such a strict 'changing' schedule that they get changed every couple of hours even when they aren't neccessarily wet. I had Maya in cloth at daycare and often the bucket would come home with 5 nappies in it and only 3 were wet, the other 2 she had obviously been changed before she was actually wet.

Taine goes through a pack of nappies a week - we get them from baby factory and I love them.
$5-50
Jake...maybe a pack in a week and a half....so $10. roughly.
But my nappies are cheapies. I still love them though. Would be interested in fuzzibunz, apart from the initial cost again!
