Anyone on the contract plans? Which one and why do you like it?
I am so confused, I've had a work mobile for years and now I think I need my own, but I have no idea which plan I need!! They all seem so similar!

yes nikki they are
jade, you need to sit down and think what you need from your cell......i txt alot and to both networks, calls are to in-laws cell so we need free mins, and my parents only have a cell so i have my dad as a bestmate.
DH has the same plan so he has me as a bestmate, if i want him to ring me, i txt him and he calls back.

Thanks everyone!!
Jack & Charli - I really want the best mate thing, great to call DH. Apart from that I'll only need to test vodafone, and some overseas. As for the calling, I never call people because I've never had free minutes!
Megs - I think the Mega plan sounds fantastic, I think thats the one I'm leaning towards. Glad its working for you!

I'm on the same plan as jack n charli
My sister is my BM (I text her about 600 times per month).
And my other 600 go to whoever wants them
I barely use my minutes, being home most of the day. But I'll use them up on the last day of my billing cycle to have a gossip to my bestie.
But when I was working I was using about 300 mins per month and only about 400 texts per month.

I have just xhanged to the texter plan. They tried to sell me the mega plan but when i had a look at it I realised the txter one was better fo rme cause most of the people I txt are on telecom. However, they have stuffed up my changeover and I have been without a phone for 1 1/2 days and already have $36 charged to my account and they have put me on the mega plan incorrectly. I have spent about 1 hour on hold so far and spoken to about 10 different people. I went to a store in my lunchbreak today (15 mins drive grr) and he was able to tell me all this - they couldnt/wouldnt over the phone. The guy could fix it but it would cost me $20 as Auckland have cancelled my sim card for some reason. Oh and I lost all the prepay credit I had as I wasnt told this would happen so didnt have the chance to use it up. SPent more time on hold tongiht and have decided to go back to the store and get them to do it there, at leastit will be all fixed properly! Sorry, its just so frustrating!!
SO, if you are going to change over, do it at one of the Vodafone/First Mobile stores NOT with the customer service ppl on the phone or internet!!

Ugh Maysie that sucks!!
Well I ended up with the Mega plan, and I love it!! (For the whole 24 hours I've had it!) I got a really cool mobile to go with it, a sony ericsson v640i.
