Topic: Fancy dress ideas Posted: 10 June 2008 at 8:42pm |
Brooke has a celeb or tv character dress up for school on friday. she has decided to be Gwen Stefani... so what do you think she needs to wear (please remember I don't want it to cost too much)
I thought a Union Jack top (we have one) with a retro jacket (we have one) but unsure what to put on the bottom.....
Ideas would be great

it depends whether she is going as skater rock Gwen (the early days) or the new flashy Gwen.
If early Gwen then something like skater boy shorts - cargos or denim with skater style shoes.
If later Gwen then something a bit glitzier, maybe hot pants style (I dont know if appropriate for a 10yo?!?!?) with knee socks.

They are one size
Or she could wear a blue dress with white polka dots like she did for one of her videos.

Yes I googled out LOL...
Becks will look into the fish nets - I am thinking hot pants (gotta think have i got any or might have to trim some old jeans) with leggings and fishnets (be a lil cold without the leggins) with her pink boots - now on top now too sure. i know Gwen wore alot of odd things together and made it work

ok - have settled for - a black and white striped long sleeve underneath her black no sleeve top with union jack on, and I cut some old jeans into short shorts over fish net stocking - I am getting some knee high socks also (black and grey) with some bling.
Her hair is going to be down (not so good at doing hair styles) but going to straight it with the straightener and put a black thick hair band in.
And RED lipstick
