I still haven't had AF back since Sophie was born. It's nearly 7 months now. Do you think I should be worried, I know everybody is different, but everything I have read says most people will have it back by about 10 weeks after the birth. I'm not BF, and haven't since she was 3 weeks old. Do you think I just wait, or go and see the Dr. I'm worried that maybe there is a medical reason for it not returning. (I have no idea what, but I am worried it could be serious) |

As you haven't bf for quite a while then I would go and see the doc, is probably completely normal but better to go and ask than worry about it. Perhaps they will give you the pill or something to kick start it.
edited to change have to haven't

I would go and see a doctor too, even if its just to put your mind at rest.
I didn't get my AF back until DS was 6 months old, but I'm still BFing.

I was wondering if I started my pill if that would kick start anything?? Have been waiting for AF to start it.

I still don't have mine back I'm not worried at all, quite happy in fact!!!
But everyone is different, so put your mind at ease and have it checked if it helps.

I still don't have mine back - finished breastfeeding Samara about 4 weeks ago (she is 10 months old) and am on the mini pill. Should I get it back being on the mini pill??

I didn't get AF back until Lucas was exactly ten months old. I was breastfeeding though so maybe its diff when you formula feed?

I had mine once when Jack was 2 months old (only expressed for the first 2 weeks then FF) then nothing since. I'm going to my doc in August. But I don't expect mine to show as it only did a few times in 6 years before I conceived Jack anyway.
But yes I would go and see your doc just to put your mind at ease.
