   Morning all,
I have my little guy (5 mths) in Huggies, and we regularly get leaks overnight. He is 7kg and in Crawler size.
I've tried boosting with nappy liners but still no joy.
Has anyone else had this problem, or can anyone recommend a different brand to try?
 cheers

Huggies are the only thing that lasts on my 6month old! They are all so different, aye!

You could try putting the nappy covers over to prevent leakages.can't remember what they are called but they do work well.

We moved out of infant a few weeks ago as they were too small on him...
Liking the covers idea. Might go ask at the Baby Factory later today.
 thanks

Covers are probably the best idea. Chloe is only 6kg and she is in the crawler Huggies as the infant ones kept leaking on her.

Our neighbor uses a size bigger nappy at night time to contain it all for her wee one, but I haven't tried it on Chloe yet... maybe you could try that? If it doesn't work, at least you know that he will grow into the bigger size eventually, so it's not a waste.

If all else fails, the overnaps are probably your best bet.

If they're leaking out the top, you might find Treasures Ultra better, as they seem to be alot longer. I found them hopeless for a NB, but good at this age.

There has also been a review of sposies on here somewhere. Can't remember where though.

They're all different shapes and sizes aren't they!
I use crawler Huggies at night time and both girls are around the 5kg mark with Aoife having a skinny bum.
I found with the infant size they were leaking up the back every night.
Now I get the odd leak around the legs but thats when DH gets a bit rushed when putting on their nappies or they have a major poo.

I think Nix-kidz sells boosters for disposables. I can't see any on her website at the moment, but you could email her about them.

must be the shape crawler is big on Ethan but he is long and lean (though filling out) so maybe just the shape on him.. cause he leaks outta crawler..lol after reading all the responses maybe my boy is just different like his Mum:)

His leak is always out to the side rather than the top. this is after making sure we are careful to point his bits straight downwards too - i guess things move around when he wriggles.
Will try the covers first, then treasures ultra if that doesn't work....

Hmm, after suggesting them, i'm now not sure if Treasures Ultra would help. While they are longer, I find them looser around the thighs than Huggies, which sounds like where you're getting leakage from.

Well I tried a cover on him last night, and was woken to a leak just before 3am! So not too successful then....

I think the leak is coming out the top and dribbling down the side as he tends to sleep leaning in one direction. I am going to get some Treasures today so will try those tonight.

No, not at all! I'm actually surprised it has taken this long for someone to mention cloth.

Will definitely consider cloth if the Treasures is a no go. I have thought about them, but I have so much laundry to do anyway.... Kind of in the too hard basket if you know what I mean!

This is such an interesting thread in the 13 months we have used sposies we havent had a single leak! (except in the beginning when we tried Giggles). We are in huggies, my girl is 10kg and 12 and a half months and just moved out of crawler nappies.

Is my child normal lol makes me wonder if shes peeing enough because she sleeps from 6:30 pm till 7ish in the morn with no leaks!!

Hehe! Yes, we cloth users can be quite forthright in our opinions
TBH I mostly used disposables for my older 3 - mainly cos there was only the good old flanny flats available then - which were a PITA and leaked.
MCNs are great and, really, the washing isn't a big issue. No soaking in buckets of napisan and I only wash every couple of days. I do a rinse cycle first, then wash them with all the other baby clothes. Easy peasy. And I love all the cute prints and fabrics - makes nappy changing fun

Yeah, thats what I'm going to do tonight - change him when I dreamfeed later.
I haven't changed during the night for ages, but if it works I would much rather deal with him waking when I change him, rather than him waking me at stupid o'clock because he is soaking. Poor guy...
