Hey.

Last week i had a bath with Kylah, didnt realize at the time that i had thrush. Yesterday she was looking very red and sore and had split skin in her girl bits.

I put some cream on her (sudocream) last night as the splits were bleeding and i know it stings..

DF just took her to the doctor who said she is fine and it will go away by itself? Is this normal? He gave him a script for antifungal cream but only because he asked for it, not only for Kylah but for me to use too.

I would use the cream on her Kandice. Sounds like thrush to me. Anitfungal cream isn't going to do her any harm anyway so won't do any harm using it. Try it & see if you have results. It's the only way you'll now for sure. Especially if the Doc wasn't very helpful!

I agree and if the antifungal cream doesn't help and it gets worse ask for Miconazole H (i.e. micreme H) and that should clear it up.

I hope you both feel better soon.

yea i agree with the others, Micreme H is fantastic! i find i put it on Eden for a day (3times a day) and by the next morning, its pretty much completely gone.
That way you wont need to go to the doc if she gets it again, because a little goes a long way with it, i find if Eden gets a lil red i put one lot of micreme H on and the redness is gone really quickly

I don't know why he didn't prescribe it first time.  Our MW prescribed normal micreme for Michaela and that kept it from getting worse but didn't help it get any better so we went to the doc who had his own kids and had found (after much trial and error) that micreme h was the only thing that help his daughter.  He prescribed us 2 tubes, enough to last until she grew out of nappies.

Micreme h is the best cream in the world for clearing up stuff.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

We use MiCremeH too and it works brilliantly.

Will be fine for Kylah, but you probably need an internal treatment or that take-once tablet to get rid of yours
