Totally and utterly fine.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

Yep .. my mw said this is the only pain relief to use while pregnant and as long as you use only the recommended dosage you are perfectly fine. She even said to use it when labour begins.

Yep panadol is fine just make sure it is plain old panadol and not one of the extra ones. Either that or just bog standard paracetamol is ok.

As cuppatea said above - make sure it is definately paracetamol only.

I took it throughout my pregnancy as I suffered from headaches and migraines.

Panadol is a lifesaver while pregnant - my mw said to take it even when I got the flu while pregnant - just make sure its not the extra ones which contain codeine and caffeine.

My MW told me its fine to use plain Panadol as long as I dont go over 8 a day. I tried to bite the bullet and not take any but ended up taking 4 panadols one day...I had the worst headache!

I was on morphine, codeine and panadol all taken together daily, for six days straight and then codeine and panadol for a further two weeks after that -- drove the hospital docs and nurses crazy with my constant questioning about the safety of the drugs on baby (only 16 weeks at the time) and was continually told everything would be fine. Am now 21 weeks, have had another scan and baby is fine and growing well.
