thought Id start this up as I love poems - about anything too.

Anyway heres a cool one I found on the net about twins

Two to Love
There's two to wash, there's two to dry,
There's two who argue, there's two who cry.
One's in the mud having a ball,
The other holds a crayon, another marked wall.
Some days seem endless, my patience grows thin.
Why was I chosen to be a mother of twins?
The answer comes clear at the end of each day,
As I tuck them in bed and to myself say,
There's two to kiss, there's two to hug,
And best of all, there's two to love!

This is so true this poem and I think its for all mums too not just twinnie mums as we all have those kind of long days that seem to vanish from our minds when we tuck our wee ones into bed and get kisses and cuddles.

So if any of you have cool poems please share as I love to collect them and share with friends.

I have one that is on Kobes website, cant remember where I got it from or what it is word for word but its something like

Before you were conceived you I wanted you
Before you were born I loved you
Before you were here an hour I would die for you
This is the meaning of love

i love this one....but its kinda long?
anyway always makes me cry

The day was lovely as i strolled along
peering at stones on the way
and thats when i saw it
a pitiful cross
that was splintered and fading away

With flowers in hand to tend fathers grave
i knew i must hurry along
but i couldnt help but stare at for awhile
at the grave that just didnt belong

The dates on the front confirmed my suspicions
of what i already knew
a child lay beneath that horrible cross
and its faded colour of blue
what horrible parents they must have been
to bury their child all alone
no flowers or candles to light the way
not even a simple headstone

But on the back an inscription
that through my tears i read
the inscription that forever changed my life
that so lovingly said

     " this cross isnt grand
but it was carved by my hands
so youll know son how much i care
     its the colour of blue
     to remind me of you
and how sad that you are not here
that its YOU who is gone and its ME carrying on
while your young life has come to an end
       and im left all alone
       never again with a home
and a grave thats too painful to tend"

and now the other headstones
didnt seem so grand or strong
when i knew now the best
of all of the rest
was the grave that truly didnt belong

this is the poem i made up to go with gabriels hand and foot print that i got bronzed for my hubbys xmas pressie the first xmas we had our baby...

to daddy
whose footsteps i will follow
and whose hand i will hold
on my journey through life
treasure how small they were
and watch them grow

it was my first ever real attempt at poetry.

i wrote one for caitlyn but its quite long.Dont say i didnt warn u....

FOR CAITLYN RHIANNA

If i had a million dollars
id spend it all on you
everything that i could buy
to make your dreams come true
But one day little one
i hope youll understand
in the end money is
worth less than a grain of sand

I mightnt buy u the fanciest clothes
or the latest toys
but the love i will give u
is more than some poor girls and boys
Ill always have a room for you
and clothes for you to wear
there will always be a bed for you
And the cupboard never bare
But when it comes to things desired
that you want but do not need
Sometimes you'll have to go without
so you my child i can feed

I will however give you more
than you could ever ask
its my greatest honour to be your mum
the most precious of all my tasks
and so it is with greatest pleasure
that i say i know whats true
Is my job my darling one is to
teach all i know to you

I have made mistakes in life
to you ill never lie
and from these mistakes ive learnt
as you to will by and by
and along the way youll learn things that i did not
sorrow, heartache and tears i hope you have the lot
for tho i pray lifes good to you
its when we experience sorrow
that we know happiness is true

one day ill let u out the door
and i hope the world is kind
and whatever it is you seek in life
i hope its what u find
and when u decide to return
and come back to the start
come no closer than my arms that for you, yearn
for you beat within my heart

my only hope is when your back
the one thing you will boast
is that in the end
my best of friends
is its LOVE that matters most.

WAKEUP! ITS OVER NOW ! POEMS FINISHED! AWAKEN I TELL YOU! I TOLD YOU IT WAS LONG!!!!!
