I have noticed lately that little things that would never usually bother me are REALLY REALLY annoying me.

My daughter has a friend over at the moment and she is coughing and coughing and coughing..It is driving me nuts!I want tot ake her home!

I sat behind an elderly driver who was sitting on 49km my whole drive home from the Mount..I wanted to drive over top of him!

There are greasy finger marks all over my cupboards in the kitchen which I am sick of cleaning up!!!

Is this normal....are others finding "things" more irritating while they are pregnant??? Or am I being a big GRUMP!!

Slow drivers, slow people, yappers, advice givers
(espcially when not asked for)....people who chew loudly...you name it, it bugs me.

I'm also having huge patience issues with anyone who walks in the door....particulary when they come in and say...

"I want to go on holiday....somewhere warm, don't know where..maybe a pacific island...with our own beachfront bure would be nice...no kids but we want to go during school holidays...and can you make sure it's no more than $50.00 per night including all meals".

guess what I do for a job?

At least in Bali you have a shot at cheap accommodation rather than sodding Cook Islands or Bora Bora!

Well while we are on the subject of annoying MIL's
(and if we werent before we are now) can I add something I found VERY annoying last night - my MIL phoned me and asked if we had been for our scan yet - I said no it is on Friday - and she said "are you still going to find out the sex of the baby?" and I said yes and then she said (word for word) "oh you little terrors, ugh, well if you must know then make sure you dont tell me, I dont want to know"
I WAS LIVID!! first of all I am 28 and my husband is 34 - I dont think we qualify for the "little terror" label anymore! Secondly, if I want to find out the sex of MY child, who is she to tut and make dissapproving sounds? and then fuss about not knowing...I want to know and I dont want to go aorund keeping some big secret and watching what i say - it;s my baby - shoudlnt i be the one to decide if the world knows what it is or not? AAARGGGHhHH! She just pi$$es me off big time at the moment! I was so mad after i got off the phone I said "well if i want to say what it is then i will say what it is - it is my child" to which my husband said "come on, just be nice, you are over-reacting it's just your hormones...!" And he just walked out of the room with no idea whatsoever how utterly condescending that sounded... ...oh so ok it's just me then, just my HORMONES IT ISNT? MY HORMONES? NO ACTUALLY dear husband IT'S YOUR MOTHER!!! anyway as a favour to my husband i will try to keep it a "secret" from her, but honestly, that woman gets on my nerves so much now! LITTLE TERRORS INDEED - WHO DOES SHE THINK SHE IS SPEAKING TO? A 5 YEAR OLD?????

Okay, so it's not just me who feels like the world is getting on my nerves! Poor Kiya... I'm trying so hard not to take it out on her, but she's one of those kids that HAS to give a running commentary of EVERYTHING she even remotely possibly maybe considered doing! and its driving me bananas!

Oh yes!!! Mrs F...she would get on my wick too I think!!

I have had my fair share of people giving their two cents worth about us finding out what sex it is? I mean whats the big deal!!

caraMel...I sometimes have rather odd thoughts about people at work..
My Grandma - Bless her is the most wonderful person in the world but sometimes she drives me crazy with her worrying about everything under the sun. She worries about sickness and what I eat and what time I go to bed. All I want to do is say to her "HOW OLD AM I???". But I just cant do it. I know she means well but sometimes it can get very frustrating!

To top it off Paige is lying on the couch unwell now after freezing her little bottom off at netball! And the other half is late tonight!!!

HOW DO PEOPLE HAVE THREE OR FOUR OR FIVE CHILDREN????

In a word Kelly... a resounding YEP!!!!
I've noticed I'm more short-fused now. And my sister and I seem to argue that much more easily too - she rekons I've been "sh****er" since I became pregnant - I say I've just become less tolerant of people trying to boss me around, and I don't have the patience for other people's problems that I used to have - that's a change for the better though! I've decided it's nature's way of getting me ready to be assertive in my new 'mother' role. I feel sorry for my husband when I'm snappy though - he gets the worst of the emotional rollercoaster, and just waits then says "are you having a bad day today my love"? which of course, will make me cry! Ah joy.

just putting my 10 cents worth. I know i used to get easily annoyed and esp when ppl made stupid comments. When I found out the sex of the boys (pretty hard not see in the scan even if i didnt want to know they were showing all) I got heaps of what a shame you are having 2 boys and not a "pidgeon pair". How rude huh. That used to bug the absolute crap out of me!!!!

Yes I'm definitely feeling the same way. And when hubby makes little comments along the lines of "well you're always sh*tty anyway" then it just makes it worse!!!

Well if this girl at work says one more time that I’m going to have a 10 pound baby and have to have a c-section just because SHE thinks I have a huge bump…I will shove something straight down her throat!

Just because she stayed skinny her whole pregnancy and apparently barely looked pregnant even when her baby came out does not mean everyone else is having a whopper! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Oh Paws she sounds like a beep beep, i would put that down to her being jealous that she didn't have a belly to be proud of.

Peoples mouths drop when they see me coming because they are used to seeing me slim and fit on a netball court or running around a touch feild and now ive filled out everywhere....but they never say mean things to me....just wish me all the best and some times i feel thats their way of saying BIG BABY ON THE WAY.

And YES i too get annoyed with others easily, when before i was pregnant i was a patient person
