Hi Ladies,

Just wondering if anyone else is having the same problem as me? I have found that for the last month or so, I wake up quite often during the night feeling like all the joints in my legs are really stiff. My hands are the same and it's really hard to get comfortable because of the aching feeling.

I actually forgot to mention this to my midwife but someone told me it's probably lack of calcium.. It's not a problem during the day, only at night when I'm in bed.

Yep - I've had the aches and leg cramps too. The leg cramps went away with extra magnesium (upped the banana intake). In my last pregnancy I ended up with aches up and down my forearms which the midwife saide were carpal tunnel or OOS related. Apparently pregnancy can help start all of this stuff up. She recommended extra rest, a hot-water bottle to keep the areas warm and being extra careful not to strain anything extra.

Yup, I have had it too, plenty of times - some of it was related to carpal tunnel syndrome, other times it is just "normal" (HAH !! nothing normal about it, they hurt !!) pregnancy aches and pains.
