weight gain?

I was wondering for those of you who have been through a whole pregnancy - did you find you weight gain was fairly gradual and spread over the 9 months or that it was minimal in the first half and most of it was gained in the second half?

I was pretty evenly spread but was told to expect the most in the last couple of months but didnt make it that far, not sure how much GD played a part though and Im big already

Although I know I'm not quite at the end yet, the weight gain in the first trimester and first half of the second trimester was much more gradual and evenly paced... then there was a big jump, and things have since picked up speed ! Still pretty "even" though.
