I hate having days like that especially when nothing you eat satisifies your hunger pangs!

i am sooo hanging out for a nice greasy chicken piece from kfc... mmmm crispy coating. aaah i want it so bad!
i got a safe eating boklet from my doc and it says that ham is ok if it is heated till steaming hot and you eat it straight away; dont let it cool down any.
hope that helps :)

KFC isn't a problem for me coz even the smell makes me queasy...
I know hot ham is safe, but it doesn't taste the same I just want to eat shaved ham straight out of the bag. Or maybe in french bread with cheese, tzatziki, salsa and baby spinach...
Not that I've been dreaming about it or anything...

Hehe i know what you mean! I buy the packaged cold ham and chicken, the kind that its sealed air tight in the cold section of the supermarket, they say not to eat the deli meats cos of the fridge/cabinet they are in, i figure thats its not so bad with the ones i buy. You only get a few slices in the packet and they are yummy flavours to pick from. And im still ok :) ive eaten KFC numerous times too, i ask to have the freshest pieces cos im pregnant and they dont mind :)

I think it's ok if you open the container fresh and eat it straight away. Once the seal is broken the bacteria can grow...

those cream puff things are soooo good.
Ive been really struggling with GD and trying to balance what I can have with baby vs healthy low fat and sugar eating and my midwife said that I would be alright if I brought ham first thing in the morning from somewhere like Pak n save that go through so much its not left sitting there all day. Havent had any yet though, just cant get out of my head that its bad.

I bought some tzatziki and salsa and baby spinach, going to make my sandwich for lunch without the ham and see if that kills the craving...

Just a heads up on the ham, the ham they put out in the morning also has the left over ham from the day before in it.

Food is such great comfort.
I am polishing off a big bag of grain waves that I decided I really needed to eat.
