I have a lump that is just in my ear canal (when I put my finger on it my finger isn't in my ear), it is just behind that funny bit that people some times get pierced. It moves when i put pressure on it (so I am guessing it is full of fluid). Can I try and pop it as it is really annoying me now.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

Oh I often get blind pimples in my ear, they are soooo annoying and sometimes really painful

I find they usually go away within 1-2 weeks though?

Oh yeah I've had them, reeeaaallly sore. Whenever I pop them they never pop properly and just get more sore, I'd just leave it.

I get them too and like the others...they're sore!!! So i'd say leave it, but if it doesn't get any better go to a doctor and get him to lance it for you

I get these occasionally. Sometimes they just disappear on their own after a week or two, other times I have popped them and loads of gunge has come out (sorry, gross i know!).

Maybe try give it a gentle squeeze and just see what happens!

(let us know though.....)

Owchies!!! I used to get them all the time and they reaaaaaly hurt. I think trying to pop it is only going to make it worse and take longer to go away in the end.
I agree with the others and would leave and and it should go away on its own in a week or too. If not see a doctor.

try putting some lavender oil on it if you have some or some dettol. If it's a blind pimple that might help.

Ouch! I hate those - especially when you've been sleeping on that side of your head

I wouldn't have a clue if it is a blind pimple. It is really squeechy(sp?) so just feels like fluid. I couldn't pop it if I tried as I can't see it at all. I think I will just have to leave it and maybe keep pressing on it to see if that will help.
