Can someone help me prepare please?!?!

My little boy has just cut his first 2 teeth. Whilst they aren't big enough to do any damage yet I am preparing for the inevitable - that he will bite me whilst feeding.

What do you do when your LO does this? I kind of assumed I would take him off, say 'no' and then relatch him. And repeat!!

Any suggestions gratefully received

Whatever u do dont pull him off when his teeth are clamped down! !
I would pick Isla up and put her down away form me, and say ' no Isla, that hurts Mummy' in a firm voice. She cried, and didnt like being seperted from me,...but it worked, she never did it again. Contined to breast feed fine even when she had a mouth-full of teeth!

If they're his bottom teeth his tongue should be over them so you shouldn't feel them when he's feeding.

There's some info and tips here.

Hope that helps

Maddi is already a biter and hasnt even got teeth yet Although I think she is teething. When ever she does it she quickly gets given to someone else or put down for a few minutes.
With DD#1 I only ever remember being bitten once, they seem to learn pretty quickly not to bite.
