I think for memory mine took about 10 days. That was just a normal application.
As far as I know it usually only takes a max of 2 weeks as long as the application is correct and your photo is all good

I'm pretty sure Maddie's came back in just under a week but you are best to allow 10 working days, just in case.

I have allowed a month (we leave in a month tomorrow). It is being handed straight to the passport office as my sister took it with her today back down to Welly.

Lisha we are off to see my mum and dad up on the Sunshine Coast, I so can't wait to go and see them. I haven't seen my dad in a year now .
The photo I think is good enough, Josh's mouth isn't open but he does havea few strands of hair sticking up. Andrew's passport photo was taken at 3 weeks old, does not look like him now.

I am in the middle of filling in an application for Lycan and it says to allow for 10 working days for standard service.
The photo's must be recent, less than six months old...no red eye it also says taken with a neutral expression and mouth closed.....but i dont know strict they are on this when it comes to babies...

You can give the passport office a call.
I just did an urgent service on mine 2 weeks ago and had to call them to make sure it was ready, I just gave them my full name and birthdate. They were really helpful
I am pleased that they only last for 5 years now, my photo is literally discusting!

At the time of my passport photo in 2004, I thought I looked hideous. Now that I am heavier, I think I look good, hahaha.
I am sending off Phoenix's passport application this week. Baby photos are tricky.

I rang the passport office just before and Josh's passport should be here today. It was all processed by Thursday and went on the courier on Friday.
I am very impressed, a government department that is on to it with their processing!!!
But OMG the security to get the info, Josh's fullname, DOB, address, my fullname and the relationship to him

I had the same, Roksana. There was a problem with my witness form, so they just stopped processing it. Are we supposed to be psychic? I ended up getting my passport a few days before I went overseas, which was cutting it way to fine for my liking!
So yeah, I'd recommend a follow-up call after a few days just to check everything is ok with the application.
