What are you like with things online???
I feel pretty safe on Oh Baby to talk about things and have photos on here. I have a Bebo and FB but those are both private pages that only my friends can see and also on FB I only allow my friends to see the photos. I don't even trust some of my friends friends that I know who won't add me or accept the add from me to see the photos of my boys.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

Yip I feel safe on OB to, I also keep photos on digitalmax and photobucket but they're only shared with friends and family. DH has given his torana forum access to his photo albums on photobucket...hope they can't get into mine from that, there's some personal BFing ones!! I don't know much about things like bebo, set up on there ages ago but it all sounded to open for my liking....from what you've mentioned though it can be kept private.

Im probably the same. Probably feel a bit too safe on OB. I keep bebo on private though and only let people I know and trust access it.
I do have blogspots for just photos although very few people know about it and it doesnt get many views, its mainly to share photos with grandparents.

I am very very paranoid about online security nowadays, especially after last night. Long story short, I had re-joined NZDating a while back ...well I started talking to this guy and he seemed to know too much info for my liking and he started saying some pretty out there things so I quickly blocked him and ended up deleting my profile off of there. No more online dating sites for me, I don't feel safe on there.
As for Oh Baby yeah I feel safe here, but not to the extent of posting personal or family issues.
Bebo and Faceparty I both keep private and I often have 'spring cleans' and go through deleting people that I don't have all that much to do with.
Pretty good reasoning for that though, I don't want my boys photos being leaked to his 'sperm donor'. Why should he be able to see photos of his beautiful son if he's not prepared to step up and take responsibility for his actions, or at the very least attempt to be part of his life and make some kind of an effort.
For me thats mostly what my cautiousness boils down to. I have to protect my son

I go through phases. I started off being ultra cautious - not posting any personal information and using the bare minimum to sign up, never posting photos etc.
The more I spend time on here and one other forum I visit the more relaxed I get. But then I read something about internet security or someone being hassled because of the info they have on the net and I get all anal again. I'm going through an ultra security-concious phase right now - hence no avatar photo and a lot of my photos I've taken off photobucket. I like OHBaby! but because it's such an open forum I'm a bit more conservative here.
Facebook I have a very limited profile with the highest security settings I could get on there.
For all that, my name is very easily googled due to my previous job, there are heaps of links to my contact details on press releases etc. I don't really like it but can't do anything about it now.
I don't really feel safe with any info online, but balance that up against being part of the community in these types of forums - I know you have to give something of yourself to recieve the benefits of the community, as in - why should you trust or talk to me if I don't give much info about myself.

I dont have a Bebo page anymore - one of my friends had hers hacked into (even though it was on private) and stole her photos and pretended to be her!
Ive heard of this happening quite a bit on Bebo - so that was it my page was gone as quick as it went up!
