Topic: Silk baby wipes = headache? Posted: 12 September 2008 at 4:36pm |
OK so we were given every brand of baby wipes available to try when Ella arrived... took me ages to go through them 'cause I used cloth wipes for a long time. When I opened the 'Silk' ones, I quickly learnt that one whiff of them gives me a nasty headache that lasts a few hours. I had to get them out of the house even 'cause having the pack sitting there after it'd been opened set me off. And now it still happens if someone else uses them on their baby while I'm there. It's a right PITA! But does this happen to anyone else? It seems totally weird and random to me.

Totally me too. I can't STAND the perfume in wipes (or anything other than perfume actually. ha.)
And J&J wipes make my skin sting.
You are not alone

Yes! We had a pack in the house that I had to chuck out once they were opened, the smell is gross, and really gets 'into' your head, if you know what I mean?

I just don't like the wipes for wipes.
So at least I can still hang out with you, Andie, cause I don't use that brand
