Steelcraft strider 3

We also have one & have found it really good. No compliants here. I also like the fact you can turn the seat around when bubs is little. The basket is really big too.

We looked seriously at buying this stroller, but at the last minute went with the reverse handle stroller instead.

We loved how you could turn the seat around, but it doesn't lie completely flat, and the bassinet attachment was around $200 to buy separately. We were told it's perfectly safe for newborns, but not to let them lie in there for longer than two hours because it doesn't lie completely flat. Also the back wheels were slightly too wide - we didn't think it would fit through our front door very well!

So we ended up getting the reverse handle one because it lies flat and the wheel-span is smaller. Would have liked to go for a three-wheeler stroller as I've been told they're easier to maneuver but I'm happy with our final choice :)

Yep, we got the 4wheel reverse handle one. It fits through our front door and you've still got the option of having the baby facing you because it's got a reversible handle. Plus it was slightly cheaper than the 3-wheel one.

I think the only drawback to it is that it's got four wheels (which are harder to steer than 3 wheels) and there's an individual brake on each wheel, unlike a lot of 3 wheel strollers which have one bar across the back that connects to two back wheel brakes - so you have to individually activate 4 brakes rather than 1 or 2.

Having said all that, our baby is still 4 months away so we haven't actually been able to test-drive it properly yet!

We have the Strider 3, and I LOVE it!!

OK, if I could choose I would make it a little less wide, but I'd still choose this pram if I had to choose again.
I chose it particularly because Mika could face me, and it's great. I can talk to her, I can see exactly when she's falling asleep (or not), I can adjust things (blanket etc), without having to get myself into strange angles. I'd hate to have a pram where she faces away from me.

Just a tip. After a few weeks we had an issue with the front wheel, it kinda got stuck. All I had to do was take it off, wipe it and spray some lubricant on it. That was a year ago, and it's still smooth as.

Fleur, we sold ours when #2 came along & bought a P n T's instead. I was sad to see the Strider 3 go, I really loved it! No complaints here

It obviously depends on how many children you're planning & how close together but in the long run, it probably would've been easier for us to just have bought the P n T's first time round

C&J thats why we are going to buy a P & T for the first one- the plan is to have them close together and dont want to have to buy 2 prams when one will do the job

I had the Stealcraft 3, but I traded up for a moutain buggy. Loved it with a small baby though. The underneath storage is fantastic on it!
