Hi,
A very simple question.
Is anyone using natural Progesterone cream or has conceived while using it?

Hi,
I conceived using progesterone cream with my first pregnancy, but conceived just as easily without it this pregnancy (about 5 months TTC each time).

Hi,
Were you using the cream to try and get pregnant, or for another reason?

rianna, alot of women use it if they have short LPs or have MCs, here's an official explanation for what it's good for
**********************
Keeping progesterone levels to optimum levels can help fight depression and anxiety, increase sexual libido, prevent bone loss (osteoporosis), fight aging skin, wrinkles and brown spots, help oxygenation of cells, alleviate sleeplessness, control acne, reduce premenstrual discomforts, protect against breast fibroids, reduce hair thinning, and reduce hot flashes.
Since Progesterone is the single most important
hormone necessary for the survival of the embryo and the foetus, a drop in levels can result in a miscarriage. If it is correctly formulated it can be used for the at least the first four and a half months of pregnancy.
Natural progesterone cream is also useful for postpartum depression, which many women experience after childbirth.
******************************************
I think it has to be 'made up' here in NZ if you want the cream otherwise your dr can prescribe it by capsule. It would be an enlightened GP that would do that, mostly you would have to be diagnosed by a fertility specialist to get it prescribed. It can be brought via the internet and i think in some health supplement places.

I found this on a website.
"Natural progesterone is a little known natural hormone cream that is starting a quiet revolution among women with its ability to assist with menopausal symptoms, PMS, infertility, endometriosis, fibroids, fibrocystic breasts and post-natal depression.
Natural progesterone is the name of a specific hormone that is made in the female ovaries as well as in the placenta during pregnancy. It is known as the “anti-stress, anti-anxiety hormone” and works in tandem with oestrogen.
If your progesterone levels become too low, as happens with many women due to a variety of causes, oestrogen becomes dominant causing a range of troublesome symptoms.
Progesterone ripens the thickened endometrium so that it can be implanted with a fertilised egg – hence its name “pro” “gestation”. Repeat miscarriages may be due to a lack of progesterone in the early stages of pregnancy. One New Zealand clinic boasts it has had 80 babies born since their clients began using the cream.
During the third trimester of pregnancy, the body produces 300 to 400mg of progesterone daily. The drastic plummet in progesterone levels following delivery of the placenta is believed to trigger post-natal depression in some women.
Highly regarded American obstetrician Dr Christiane Northrup says any woman at risk of post-natal depression should be using natural progesterone cream the minute her baby is born."
I actually have some cream and am using it now. I acquired it from Patients Advocates in Tauranga.

Apply the cream to the inside arms, shoulders, neck, chest and behind your knees. It is suggested you rotate the areas of application.
Do not apply to breasts, buttocks or lower abdomen as existing fat deposits my reduce effectiveness.
