Awww sorry I can't help with this one as once I was asleep I couldn't feel the pain. I think you can get wrist bands/guards especially designed for it, but have no idea how much they cost.

you can get wrist straps or braces for them I think my MW said they are around $35, you can get a referal to the physio from your MW or maybe even just call them? but some people find that they don't work anyway... I don't get the pain in the wrists so much as aching fingers and pins and needles and it gets worse at night and first thing in the morning is really bad.
Try sleeping with them above your head and raised if possible - hard to do tho when you're not meant to be sleeping on your back lol, be thankful that it should clear up after birth! I'm counting on it cause it's not a lot of fun.

I feel your pain, I have developed CT is the past couple of weeks, right hand/wrist more that the left. A physio friend of mine told me to ice my wrists for 15minutes before I go to bed. This seems to be helping a bit, I get about 4 hours sleep before they get really sore. I have found sleeping on my left side with my hands hangng out the side of the bed is the best position to sleep in. Seems to keep blood flowing there? My MW said she could refer me to physio but it would take a while to get appointment and hopefully I might have a baby soon anyway! Also that guards can be very uncomfortable to sleep in. She was also finding out about some pressure points or massage that may help. I am finding that I am having more issues during the day now as well, did some baking this afternoon and hands been very tingly ever since. Very annoying.
Well nearly time for me to ice my wrists ........

I don't get it that bad. Just in my right hand at the moment. First thing in the morning is the worst. My hand tends to be full of pins and needles and numb at my fingertips and I can't close my hand. Eases off during the day. I don't get pain at night. I've heard about the wrist guards but don't know how well they work.

I have RSI as well as CT while preg and use some of the pressure points to help relieve the numbness and pins and needles, at the moment I am not finding it wakes me - touching wood. If you can find a good massage therapist or acupuncturist I would recommend giving it a go. I did massage training years ago so know points from then but it is always more relaxing when someone else does it for you.
