Over the past week Ryan has been drinking about 50 - 100mls then pushing the bottle away and wriggle heaps. Before this he would take about 200mls each feed. now im struggling to get even 100mls each feed.

Could it be the formula could he not like the taste. hes been on the same one since he was 4 weeks old. Heinz nurture blue lid and it was after they changed it. It wouldnt be wind cause when he wants to burp his breathing changes and i can just tell, and he gets all his burps out really well.

He's also been sleeping alot goes down a 10pm wakes after 7am and he struggles to stay awake for 1 hr after feeds.

He might be starting to get busy and wants feeds spaced out a bit.

Or he might be frustrated at the teat and want something with a bit faster flow?

Sarah Caden did the exact same thing at round the same age as Ryan, and it was the teat size! So we went to the #2 teat on the TT bottles. Worked a treat!

My little girl started doing this also around the same time for a couple of weeks. She was already on the biggest teats though.

I tried different formulas with no luck. Took her to the dr to get checked for reflux etc, then I started treating her as if she was teething (using frozen teething rings, applying bonjela) and she came right pretty much within a couple of days and back to drinking decent amounts.

She was also dribbling a lot, wanting to shove anything in her mouth and had flushed cheeks, and although no teeth have actually cut through and I can't feel any, I think its the movement of them coming down that causes them the most pain which can hurt them when sucking on a teat.

Something to maybe consider.
